Vasanti Niemz records her progress towards her dream of a unique triathlon - swimming the English Channel, then cycling and swimming all the way to her native town of Heidelberg in Germany. In 2010 she did a triathlon which consisted of swimming the Channel, and then cycling and running to Aachen on the German border. In 1985 she became the first member of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team to swim the Channel - since then over 40 solo swims have been performed by SCMT members, the most by any team.
